Lots of well deserved love being given to Crawford and T. Howard, but Artie's fg block for 6 was sent from the heavens. In a tough game on the road where your offense and defense is struggling, sometimes a big special teams play is what you need to turn the tide. After consecutive field goals in our previous offensive drives, and with UNC gaining momentum, the blocked field goal bought us some time to get our ish together. Kudos to him.

I think that one of the biggest turnarounds we will see if Golden continues to infuse the squad with elite athletes, is a lot more big plays on special teams, being made by early contributors. Talent like Burns' is just too good to keep off of the field, but it takes time to learn the playbook and get your assignments figured out so as to avoid mental errors. The answer: unleash these beasts on special teams...Coley on kick off and punt return, Artie on kick off return and coming off the edge on fg defense. Keeps our starters fresh without any considerable drop-off in ability levels, especially since the young talent will be fresh and hungry.

It is fantastic to see true freshman stepping up and making an impact. Burns and Coley will both only get better.

In tough games a special teams play usually does make all the difference. We didn't have an offensive TD until the 4th quarter. That kept us in the game.

The block was huge but Artie also made the tackle of the night. UNC with ball 5 minutes to go....Artie Burns comes up and smacks QB on 2nd down a foot shy of the first down....delay of game, false start, sack, punt after that tackle. Huge effort play!
