We gonna load up on DBack talent this NSD?

Whats the ****?

Last year, after the whiffs, it was all "Wait till next year, with loaded talent in S FL at DB"

Well, are we gonna bank?

Seems someone fell asleep at the wheel
Just signed 4 4 star dBs at the early signing period and have 1 realistic target left(top target in the entire class) in Campbell left
 
For sure disappointing DB class unless we get Campbell. We whiffed on some of the guys we really should have landed. Still some elite prospects in this class but not where we should be. Not to mention the disaster that the DT recruiting is looking like.

We need to land Campbell AND Surtain to close out this defensive backs class.

Op is right. Guys last year claimed we were going to get 6-7 4-Star or higher DBs this class . This DB class isn’t a disappointment but definitely could’ve been better . The defensive recruiting as a whole actually

I think getting one of the two will make for a great DB class. Getting them BOTH will be legendary.
 
With all the players leaving and transferring I feel we definitely should have and could have landed a few more DBs. Since the summer the only change to the class has been losing Jobe. And missing on our other targets

We only whiffed on Jobe. We weren't recruiting the other guys hard. Good DB class now, great if we get Campbell.

I guess I should have emphasized "elite". I know we snagged some talent this year, I really meant to ask if we rolled, as predicted after last NSD.

Looks like we are still building the unit and things are going swimmingly. Good. Stopping opponents on 3rd and long will really help us.

Since you’ve been in hibernation we’ve experienced a huge increase in troll threads and porst. Many of the threads are framed as an innocent question but are really veiled shots at the current staff. You can tell that Miami is back for good.

We landed 4 stud DBs lost 1 and are chasing 2 beast. We have a really good class with the potential to finish as a great or legendary class.

I think if you asked most non-Cane fans they’d say the guys we already signed are an elite group but as you know our Canes brethren are obsessed with the one(s) that got away.

The four guys we've signed plus Campbell are arguably better than any of the defensive backs already on the roster not name Jaquan Johnson. I'd say the defensive backfield has already been significantly upgraded with Campbell being the cherry on top that boosts the DB haul from great to fantastic.

But we always miss on elite home town recruits. This has to change
