Are we really not recruiting a qb?

How these guys could be comfy enough to not bring at least 1 in is beyond me......I’d bring 2.

5 & 17 haven’t proven they can be trusted to not get suspended let alone their potential is in question. 15 hasn’t played so he’s a complete question mark.

Seems foolish at this point to not have 2019 & 2020 qbs by the bushel full on speed dial

I expect a graduate transfer to appear on our radar soon, but that doesn't excuse our failure to lure a 2019 quarterback.

Why try to recruit a scrub at this point in the game? Are we going to be able to flip a good QB already committed?? **** no with this offensive season. Let it ride until next year and hope we can get a PWO this year worth a shiit.

I keep hearing this, but don't understand the logic, on either side.

Any grad transfer who CAN actually play is coming here TO play. If he gets the starting job, I have to assume we lose at least one of Williams or Perry. That would then leave us with just two QBs on the roster for next year and one of those would only have one year of eligibility. We would actually, probably, go backwards from where we are now.

The only way it even kind of makes sense is if you are willing to say the transfer is better than Perry, let Perry leave, have a good 2019 season with the transfer, while holding onto Williams, then turn the whole thing over to Williams in 2020, while also successfully recruiting at least 2 QBs that could play in the 2019 class. So, in 2020, you have Williams and two frosh backups. Seems like a lot of uncertainties in that "process".

100% chance that Perry is suspended for the opener.
50% chance that Weldon is suspended for the opener.
50% chance that Williams transfers.

We could end up with Deejay Dallas at QB vs. Florida.

Maybe he wont throw too hard and the WRs can actually catch the ball

Mork Richt on the 24-13 loss to Florida next year:

“Well we only had 2 scholarship QBs on the roster after an unexpected transfer this offseason. That really hurt our prep. But its okay because we can still win the coastal. The 2 QBs we do have just need to execute”

Wow that’s some harsh foreshadowing right there
