Are we "Coached Up"?

I don't know.

I envisioned a team that made up for some talent/depth holes and deficiencies by playing "up", ie Golden getting the most out of the team on game day (I would say Wake Forest, GT and UNC did thusly against us, and dare say VT did as well)

Besides UF, I haven't been impressed with the teams fire. They have come out flat way to often (maybe not flat in the Shannon mode, but flat by any other standard)

That would be the difference. Unlike the Radio and Coker teams, who were always outcoached and regularly outplayed, I thought we would maximise strengths (we had a lot of strengths over every opponent save for FSU).

Or is the staff getting as much out of the team as possible?

No doubt, we have a lot of inept players. There are O and D linemen, d backs and LBs that get manhandled by everyone. But we also have some who have the athleticism/talent but play so inconsistant as to be unreliable.

Is Morris' total lack of any development/improvement a result of coaching, or has the staff gotten as much out of him as possible (I use him as an example because I think he is the same QB he was as a freshman, no improvement, no regression)

I just see teams that are inferior in talent play up against us, from individual execution to game planning as a whole, and don't see us doing the same.

So, are we coached up?
