Friday night was the highly anticipated matchup between the nationally ranked St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders and the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes. The game was televised on ESPN and another 6,500 in attendance watched the Raiders dominate the Tornadoes and win 35-3. With 30+ future Division I football players on the field, I take a look at some of the game' stop performers,
St. Thomas Aquinas:
WR Sam Bruce: Did you really expect this list to start with anyone else. The 2016 Miami commit dazzled as he had two touchdown receptions from 20 and 32-yards out respectively (32-yard TD link: https://twitter.com/nashsports/status/637450118413815808). Bruce showed once again why his speed, hands, and ability to get open are all among the best in the nation. Fans got to see more of his versatility as we saw him on a few occasions take direct snaps in the Wildcat formation. Expect Bruce to be used in many ways such as direct snaps and end-around runs when he heads to the next level.

DB Asante Samuel Jr.: The son of former NFL star Asante Samuel had two interceptions during the game. The 2018 6-foot-1 playmaker obviously has a lot to live up to, being that his father won two Super Bowl rings during his time in the NFL, however Samuel will definitely be making plays on Saturdays in a few years. Miami has a very good shot to get a commitment out of Samuel Jr.
LB Drew White: In his first regular season game as a St. Thomas Aquinas Raider, White made his presence known. Although only a junior, White was constantly around the ball Friday night causing havoc and making tackles sideline-to-sideline. He had multiple tackles for loss and I really think the 'Canes need to offer the 6-foot-1, 210-pounder who already holds an offer from Florida Atlantic. Drew is the younger brother of current Auburn quarterback, Sean White.

Other St. Thomas Aquinas standouts: 2016 Cincinnati commit Dontye Carriere-Williams, 2017 LB Patrick Moody, 2018 OG Chad Keirnan, 2017 OT Cody Bowes, 2018 DE Nikolas Bonitto.
Booker T. Washington:
2018 DE JaQuan Beaver: Just a sophomore but Beaver was making as big an impact as he could but it was covered up due to his team's lackluster performance. He holds a few early offers including from Al Golden's staff in Coral Gables and the 'Canes have a good chance at him and his teammate Robert Hicks.
2018 DE Robert Hicks: Beaver's counterpart was just as productive Friday night. Hicks, who stands in at 6-foot, 195-pounds is still raw and growing but he is very quick off the line. A great burst for his age and holds offers from Florida Atlantic and Florida International. These two will be the bread and butter for the Tornadoes defense this season.
Other Booker T. standouts: 2017 OT Willa Pierre, 2018 LB Marlon Pelote, 2016 WR Raymond Flanders.
