Briscoe can play. It seems like the knocks on him were grades and motivation. I guess his grades worked out and hopefully his motivation will improve as he matures.

IDK. Long term it could be argued that Ivery not getting in and opening up a spot for another 2013 guy may be better. Briscoe, OTOH, has the talent to be a stud (unlike, imo, Ivery), and could be huge for us.
