To be honest, if ESPN went away I probably would not notice until maybe the NFL draft if that. If the NFL network went to basic cable then I wouldn't even notice ESPN being gone for years probably.

ESPN makes moola from the SEC Network...they need SEC teams to be successful. The only constant successful SEC team is Bama, b/c they got everyone in their back pocket.

It'll stay that way until the ACC network is finally launched & based on this article from two months ago, it sounds like back-room politics is what's really preventing us from getting one.
Is an ACC Network getting any closer? Maybe...
