Italian investor wants to bring MLS back to Miami and build stadium around downtown. Working with UM school of architecture, not a private firm, could this be a segway into a future stadium for the Canes?

the stadium looks really cool though maybe a bit small even for us. apparently these guys are a competing group. david bekham also has a group trying to get a miami mls franchise. MLS really wants soccer specific stadiums. they might be reluctant to build this thing to share with UM though it would make sense.

Ignoring the two outliers (Seattle and AS Roma)...19 teams average 17,338. They want to build a stadium that barely covers the average. That makes no sense.

Why can't we knock down all the buildings on campus and put up an inflatable stadium just on game days?

Ahh, so a big field with seating on both sides and at each end, whew you're right, totally different than a football stadium configuration.
