Any chance Scott comes back this week?

Originally I thought they said about a month and that they were shooting for the start of ACC play. It's been a month and ACC play begins Saturday.

We have, but I still think he's one of our best WR and would love to see him back out there if he's healthy.

To be honest, I think it'll be a little hard for him to carve out a niche. Coley's coming on strong. Hurns has Morris' trust. Waters has been solid. And Dorsett is the deep threat.

But I like him too.

Scott is probably our most physical WR and can make plays that the other guys haven't shown that they can make yet. We don't NEED him, but it would be great to have him back for FSU and VT, where a physical guy that can move the chains stretch the field would be great.

It will be unfair with him out there. I maintain he's our best WR, Stacey's ceiling notwithstanding.

I think he's 3rd right now, behind Waters and Coley. But it's hard to take Dorsett off the field because he can take the top off a defense and they have to respect that.

Yeah you can't have two deep threats. He has the best catch of the year thus far. He is, when healthy no worse than our 3rd best receiver IMO. I think there are plenty of uses for him but another weapon to keep everybody fresh at worst.

Scott has some great tools and if he is clicking he is our best WR talent not named Coley. I think Coley is better.

The problem is he is hardly clicking, Waters has been playing the best followed by Hurns.

Scott is not a true deep threat. He has average speed.

He can get up and find the ball, but he doesn't have the speed to be classified as a deep threat.

We can win without him, but we absolutely need him. He adds to depth and is a beast. I can't wait to see him on the field and in the rotation again. Go Canes

Pretty sure that with most teams 2nd n 3rd or 4th corner or safeties covering him he would go deep quite nicely.

Maybe, but he's not a deep threat, lol.

I'd rather send Dorsett, Coley and maybe Waters deep than Scott.

Yeah probably true. But my point is I think he is good enough to play any of the spots soooo I think we can find a spot pretty easily. Not that he is our best deep threat. No worries bro just always room for great players and he is one of our best IMO.

To me, Scott has starter in the NFL type potential. Doesn't hurt to have talent like that come back for ACC play. He'll get his catches.

Malcolm Lewis barely sniffs the field now so we are very deep at WR. Jontavious Carter not being dismissed would have been way too unfair. lol

He was our second most productive WR last year. He is a deep threat like Dorsett but also a possession receiver like Hurns. He does a little of both, while also being a physical guy who can go up and make a catch over a DB. Probably our most "complete" WR. Like others have said, we don't need him, but we're more dangerous with him.
