I met Antrel Rolle a few times in 2001-2002 and he was and has always been a high character, passionate, energetic and tremendous football player and person. IIRC in his senior year he shut down Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald, both HOFs

Apparently he is a coach at Kendall Boys & Girls park (a local, well known sports park). i don't know the details other than the parent of a player on his team (9 year olds) acted improperly, instructed his son to acted violently in a game and Rolle got ****ed. anyways, the rant on IG is worth a watch because it epitomizes the characteristics of a ****NG winner at football and life. He is an old-school Cane making his mark in the community

Huge difference...

Antrel is a real man who clearly knows right from wrong. And will stand up to pinheads who do not.
 
One of my favorite Canes. Looks like he's a good dude and a proper role model for young kids. Would love to know what happened but it doesn't sound good.

The story of what led to the parent doing so is not being told. Was it wrong yea, but there’s not many dads here that wouldnt have done something similar. From what i know about the incident and being a rolle fan, i think he went too far blasting it to the world.

Summary from a parent in same program: the dad had been loyal to rolle and kbg program for a few years. Was being recruited by the other team and turned them down. Somehow those coaches took it personal and put a target on this dads kid by having their top two studs just pound the kid all game with cheap shots. So the dad finally snapped and had his kid retaliate.

Does he still have eligibility?
 
Rolle is amazing over there at the Boys and Girls Club. He works super hard for those kids.
