Thats interesting. My parents got divorced when I was young. My dad moved to Miami lakes while my mom got our main house. My dad then worked hard and built a house across the street from ours with his new wife. Really fxcked up situation but I laugh about it today. Usually only one parent wants to move away.

Who knows what the kids home life has been like. Kid is 17-18 years old and maybe just needs to be away from the drama for a few years. Is it going to make everything better no, but I can't fault a kid for wanting out of that type of environment.
