Four-Star Montverde Academy combo guard Dante Allen announced on Friday morning that he would decommit from Villanova.

Dante plays for Nightrydas Elite in the AAU circuit which his head coach Andrew Moran is expected to join the Canes staff.

I would expect Miami to make a move here and try to keep him home.

Been told by him that staying home does not have a factor in his recruitment but he said that the Moran move to Miami could play a factor in his recruitment.

I didn't know Andrew was joining staff. He has some EXTENSIVE relationships. That could be huge for us. I'm really surprised some of those relationships I'm really surprised don't have an issue with him joining a staff. Nice pick up.

That's a **** of a staff. I'm surprised some of them would be willing to come on under a first time coach. But then again because of his father & the academy he's been raised around plenty of those dudes. Nice. That explains why most of the team is transferring out. Only confusion then is the **** targets we're going after. Cause those dudes can build this team real quick.

Well Moran is likely a done deal. The rest are just rumored still, with I think Flint being the most heavily linked to us by others as well...

Brey is probably the one I'd want the most if I was Jai. I've always felt the key with new coaches is having enough experience on staff and surrounding them to gleam a lil knowledge from.

I like the idea of an older grey beard assistant with HC experience. See Phil Martelli with Juwan Howard. Good guys to lean on with tons of experience
