I know there have been similar projected depth chart threads started, but the boredom of the off-season has already begun, and these always spur interesting debate. So here is my projected depth chart for next year; what y'all think (only includes current commits; no assumptions on projected recruits):

Offense:

What y'all think? We will still be a very young team, but the experience that these young players garnered this year will pay dividends starting next year. We obviously have wholes that guys need to step up and fill, but I am already getting excited for next year. Looking forward to seeing the 2013 class come in and augment this roster as well; will be a small but strong class in my opinion.

Offense:

I think Henderson is gone. Flowers is probably your LT. Bunche is then your RT. Lockhart tore his ACL. Can't imagine he'll be in the 2-deep. I think Waters gets that spot. I don't expect AJL to be here.

Defense:
I think Porter is gone. I think Jelani Hamilton slides inside ala Pierre this year. There's almost zero chance Shayon Green starts over a healthy Mccord. I'd be surprised if Robinson plays for us next year, but that'd be nice. I think Gunter is opposite of Howard and Crawford will be pushed by Dortch and Burns.
 
McCord will start depending on.his size progression. I do think Crawford will start based on how much burn he was getting the last few games.
 
Buchanan was applying for a 6th year. I really have to think Green does not start, and I also think Gunter will have a starting spot locked up, likely opposite Howard. I also don't think Kirby starts over Gaines and Paul.

Waters over Lockhart
Gaines over Kirby (to start the year, Kirby slowly takes over)
McCord will start over Green
IMO Cleveland is gone one way or another...too many TEs unless Fisch is really going to open the offense up like NE with multiple TE sets a lot
 
Losing Seantrel and Porter would be pretty disastrous. Depth isn't great at either of those positions.

That's a **** of a lot of bad news. Hope you're being overly pessimistic.
 
Wouldn't surprise me to see a few of the FR/So CBs pass Finnie (Crawford, Dortch, Hope). He really struggled at the end of the year.

Some variation of your summary seems about right. This is not national championship material but this roster with a year of experience under their belt should be a 9-3, 10-2 team with a ligitimate chance to win the ACC.Depending on how we close this will be a good year to take what we can get of the guys we want and pass on plan B kids and self impose. I'm hoping that Porter and Henderson will learn from last year and wait on the NFL.

I've watched Linder closely, the dude was fan fav because we needed him when he signed, but he gets no push at the point of attack. He's better off playing Center, which is the weakest position on the line. McDermott won the job by default when Horn left, but Linder is better than Shane McDermott at Center. Malcolm Bunche doesn't have the feet to play tackle, I say slide him inside, like we did with Franklin when he was here. Should see an improvement in the running game (between the tackles) with this lineup. We need another RB, bigtime!

Like everyone knows...the defensive line really needs someone to step up at the end position, and we also need other guys to emerge outside of Porter and Pierre, because a freshman isn't going to cut it, i don't care what star his is... Hoping a big-time JUCO recruit can come right in and help in these areas. The LB and secondary will continue to improve, as there's some real talent there. Due to the lack of productivity, I say try D.Dye out at DE, it may cause him to go at 1000%, and we might have something there, giving him a second chance at DE (It's not like we'll miss him at TE). I think Cain is a capable LB, that's better than Ambrister and Cornelius at this point, hands down.

Pretty much. But, I think there's a better than 50% chance all of that happens. If some of it happens, it'd be a pleasant surprise.
