Every year, Bob McGinn compiles quotes from anonymous scouts on the top prospects for golongtd.com. Below is the feedback for Cam Ward, his top-ranked QB prospect (I agree with the first guy):

Would love to know what teams these Scout work for and where they draft.
I also agree with Scout 1 btw.
Cam has room to get much better in several areas however, imo, he has done just that ever year he's been in the NCAA. Based on what is out there about Cam's on and off field habits, I don't see that trend stopping when he gets to the NFL.
 
I've been reading these McGinn columns for years and they're all like this. Fun reads but nothing to get too concerned about. Scouts are paid to have opinions and McGinn is an old dude who probably talks to salty old scouts. Two years ago, they were comparing Stroud to Dwayne Haskins.
 
They sound pretty butt hurt. Wish they made themselves public. If you are going to bash someone be man enough to stand behind your words. Can't wait for Cam to make them eat their cloaked words!
 
I wonder if the 6th scout hated Nix and Hurts for changing schools.

I agree with most of those scouts that his decision making is his weakest trait. He’s going to need a good QB coach to teach him to have an internal clock and get rid of the ball. He’s not going to be able to stand flat footed doing his taxes in the NFL.

As to his hands, an NFL football is slightly larger than college, could that be a transition with his hand size? Only time will tell, but with Cam’s attitude, I’m sure he will work his *** off to prove these guys wrong.

I get it his oline was trash at Wash State but he did hold on an run around alot. It looked alot better this year cause our oline was better but hes not gonna have that time in the NFL! I love me some Cam Ward excited to see him in the NFL i will be rooting for him! Wish he had more time in Miami. I love his attitude think hes a winner! Better than Shadeaur better than Beck..

Anthony Richardson. LOL. Even the most casual college football observer could’ve told you that guy was gonna bust in the NFL and that’s just your first choice - like @Memnon said, scouts are routinely wrong, especially at the quarterback position.

Yeah I realize an “anonymous” quote from an NFL scout this close to the draft is as reliable as a horoscope but still had to have some fun with it

Criticism and praise. Gotta know how to take/handle both. I think everything said was/is accurate, from the good to the bad. Hopefully he lands in a spot that can/will take advantage of his talents and doesn't try to force a square peg into a round hole.
 
At first I had to make sure I'd clicked on the correct thread...

Had to ask myself were they talking about *1 or someone else
