Andrew Chatfield senior film

D-line too stacked this year especially if RJ or Norton doesn't leave plus Willis coming back

I definitely see the Toolbox comparison. I think he would be a great fit alongside a developed freak Rousseau a few years from now.

Chatfield, Rousseau and Garvin as pass rushing demons at DE.

Joe Jackson and DJ Johnson as DEs who can set the edge, stop the run and get after the passer.

Nice combo.

The question I have is how many times did Brock pleasure himself to that hudl?

Now watch it looking at 99. Guy was either pushing back his man or holding up a double team the majority of the snaps. Sure makes life a ton easier on a DE when the middle of the pocket is pushed back.

Idk about that, in a lot of the plays chatfield made he was the first guy in the backfield regardless what anyone else did on the play

Some of y’all hate on everything Brock post...y’all weird. Anyways this kid always seems to be around the ball and make plays.

Crazy how stacked AH's defense was this year. Unreal...

These private schools get stupid talent. It was only a few years ago that STA had Molten and both Bosa brothers on the same D-line.

He has a pretty absurd initial burst.

He certainly has a nose for the ball. Love how easily he scoops up loose balls without hardly losing a step. The pick 6 on the screen pass was nice too.

The only issue I have with him is right now, he's a situational pass rusher only. 90% of those highlights, he's standing up at the line of scrimmage. He seems to be able to diagnose where plays are going behind the line of scrimmage but the few highlights of him playing off the line, he looks hesitant even if he ends up finishing the play with a big hit. He's not a linebacker in the traditional sense.

I think the Trent Harris comparisons are valid. Maybe after a few years in the weight room, he can be a three down lineman but right now he's at least a pass rush specialist. While I'd take him at Miami any day of the week, I have to wonder why he isn't more interested in playing for someone who runs a 3-4. I think 3-4 OLB is his money spot.
