Probably going to get some shade for posting on this but it's not every day you hear about a freak of nature like this. My friends son who is currently a senior at my alma mater Southwest Miami Senior High was telling me about how this incoming FR entered the weight room day 1 benching 275 lbs and running a 4.5 40 yard dash. Just figured I'd drop a name for the guys who like to keep an eye on future studs. As if the board wasn't flipping out enough about a 2019 commit I figured I'd get myself sent to eat crow for this one.

My younger cousin is a heavy lean towards Miami...
Now granted, he's only 3 years old, but he says he grew up a Canes fan his whole life & it's his dream to come play for Miami.
Expect a commit coming in the next 15 years, stay tuned...

Thanks for posting. Been hearing about this kid for awhile.

You won't get any shade at all from me here. I'm always keeping an eye out for the next big thing. I've known about him for a while now and posted about him a couple times already before in the recruiting board.

He's the real deal. He's not done growing yet either, he clocked 4.4 hand time at a local camp and 4.5 electric at a local Nike Opening combine. He has another really good teammate to watch out for in 2020 DB Nicholas Graham at Southwest, Nicholas played with him for Tamiami Colts.

They both came to visit during the spring. Staff already knows about the two of them, only a matter of time.

Awesome news Geo I appreciate the response. Having heard of him I was curious if you, Pete, or Zbrod had heard of him but you just confirmed you have as well as the staff. Seems like Southwest got some good ones but I'm afraid if they are that good it will only be a matter of time before a Lamarcus Joyner situation comes up and they transfer to better schools.

It's a recruiting board, so feel free to share info about any relevant recruit you know of....regardless of class....

The Donk was just spotted outside this school.

Apparently there is a 1st grader there who threw another kids Florida Gator lunch box all the way out into the middle of the street from just inside the fence there. They say he is **** on the monkey bars too.The only concern is he eats a lot of paste. He might commit soon though if the coaches show him enough love.

Yeah that's my main concern that bigger schools will try to poach him. I was told they have a guy on their staff who was one of his coaches in Little League so it might help to keep him there.

I'll look into that to confirm. As far as I know since Coach Johnson, Burrows, and Fish Eyed Drummond left and Coach Neal came in he's done a good job getting kids to the college level. Unfortunately they won't ever be a Miami Central, Booker T, or Columbus as far as football talent goes.

Joyner's situation was different. They have a magnet program that would allow them to bring in kids from other areas in Miami. In the mid-2000's they began getting kids from Liberty City and Little Haiti. Burrows, Drummond, and Johnson were very good recruiters. Livingston Senatus (2006 WVU signee that made 1st team all dade) was their first big name. Drummond's been looking out for Joyner since he was in elementary school. Drummond left to Jackson, Johnson to Killian, and Burrows to Southridge in 2009. So, Joyner went looking for a new school.

The guy that runs Tamiami optimist (or whatever league they now play for) is also a coach on the staff for SW.
