I've been thinking the same thing for the past year or so. Just wait for the first serious injury to a player, coach, official, or fan. Nobody seems to think of it until something bad happens.

It can be argued the college football "product" has been going downhill over the past few years and will continue to do so as long as individual conferences are the ones actually in charge and not really working together. Fans throwing crap on the field in Texas to get a call overturned (copied by LSU fans in the next week), storming the field gone amok, games taking at least 3 and a half hours to play due to the high number of video reviews, game rules, and styles of offense. Is a targeting call in one game ever a targeting call in another?

Can't wait for the next "impartial" playoff ranking show.

I've never seen a coach yelling at the refs like that without getting a flag. The officials were intimidated by the events unfolding.
