And It Has Started...Gator Collateral Damage

No reason for any pf them not to open their recruitment. If the new staff doesnt want them, they're going to be looking elsewhere anyhow.

Why was this thread "MOVED"? And where was it "MOVED" to?

It's on the recruiting board because you're talking about a recruit. We talked about Gammage in the Gator Tears thread. Supposedly, he deleted his decommit from his Twitter.

There are also a number of Gaytes that had been calling for him and a couple others to be pushed out, notably with Gammage when they landed Ja'Mar Chase and thought Pope was theirs.

he was getting dropped for schwartz anyways not a big loss for them

Well, having reviewed a number of Gator responses to this decommit it certainly appears as though they care. Further, typically when this starts other commits adopt a "me too!" attitude and also decommit. At any rate, the door is open for Richt and company to improve on an already stellar recruiting class.

There are commits now saying they committed to the school/logo not the coach. Let's hope that they lose some guys. My guess is that Ja'Mar Chase (L$U) and Jacob Copeland (Bama) are prime candidates

A bit confusing, as in addition to the Gators, the Canes, Auburn, Virginia Tech, etc. offered this kid a scholarship...at least that is what ESPN is reporting.

What’s confusing? The kid decommited, therefor they never really wanted him anyway.

That's true too. Anytime they lose a kid, they really didn't want him though I've seen them talking about pushing him and (Jalynn?) Williams out for sometime.

247 shows him having a Miami Offer but I'm sure this is one of those situations where guys in the know talk about committable vs non-committable offers.

Just wait until the Gates get stuck with Dan Mullens...Lmao...Mediocrity. Better yet, Hugh Freeze is available...would fit right in with the culture there.

Your logic is once again "confusing" me...so, if a wife tells her husband she's divorcing him to marry another man, the takeaway should be, the husband never wanted her anyway?

I have been a witness to countless decommits across the world of college football for decades and in almost all instances the program suffering the decommit does everything in their power to change the kids mind, but in this instance the kid decommiting hours after the school's head coach was fired means the Gator coaching staff didn't want the kid.

With all of that said. there may be truth that the kid was on the chopping block, as I believe RVA Cane has inferred, but with 100% certainty I can guarantee you that the Gators coaching staff didn't want him bailing at this critical juncture that may very well plant a seed in the minds of other recruits and families.

That's not my logic, that's gayter logic. If you're unfamiliar with how it works, this may help:

that means they committed to a person under the coach there BSing, probably someone not even on the staff. They trynna get them bill$ paid

This is not factual just seen this **** so many times where a coach gets fired and kids still stick.

I hope their entire class decommits ***** them, but I don’t want any of those Gata rejects to come here. Don’t need them.

You'd think now's a great time to decommit and let the boosters "talk" you into coming back.
