I know he was burnt against Tenn twice and we discussed him then, but I have a little different question.
How do you think NCST will plan to use him tomorrow against us?
Will they
1. Try to shut down one specific WR most likely Dorsett?
2. Try to shut down a specific side of the field, like Morris's right hand side where he has the best vision out of the drop?
3. Use him soley as the Field Corner to cover the WR who is in the most space?
4. Other
My guess is #3. We don't really have a premier WR that needs shutting down, so I think he will stay out at Field Corner and cover the most ground and they will likely cheat the safeties away from him to help out against the run and in zone.
I think we are going to need to run the ball, throw to our backs, and actually get the Tight Ends involved to be successful this week. I think our WR's might struggle by one getting covered by a really good experience CB and that allows the other to be double teamed if Amerson doesn't need any help.
I would also like to see Dorsett go deep on Amerson early if he is in single coverage press, even if we miss long it gives them somethign to think about leaving him out on an island.
