Might be a 5% chance at worst they get caught and deal with any punishment, but feels like that is quite a choice to make these days

Didnt they get booked for performance enhance drugs....

then they had multiple dlineman with 1st round grades....STAY...in Clemson,Sc....

Dabo is hardly clean.

Clemson has/had a system set up already...dont think Dabo cares for the need to get creative when they can just give brown paper bags an be done with it.

Busted for SARMS yeah

Not sure the level of ineptitude it takes to get busted for SARMS at the collegiate level but they pulled it off lol

Because they have been stacking classes for years...they dont have true, true needs to really hit the portal extremely hard for.

Maybe if they had a better qb last year...but sh*t their qb is a/was a 5 star kid...an they signed 1 in this class.

Dabo on offense runs a gimmick offense so he doesnt need 5 star talent on the OL...and he evaluated wr exxtremely well...he recruited a supposed 5 star all world rb int he stiff white kid.

For some reason ppl really thjink Clemson is really really down or something...they might could win a MNC this year legitimately. They really could have and should have beatn UGA last year. They just needed a qb tht wouldnt freeze up n could process..he may have that now with histrue freshman or atleast REAL comp for qb1.

Clemson didnt have a history of early entrants to the nfl draft like most elite programs due...either by paying or whatever...hence them notneeding the portal to fill holes as much...they usually send guys to the portal. See their last few qbs and rbs...and even wr with us getting ladson

That’s the root of his frustrations. Having a system in place that results in competitive advantage being threatened by industry disruption.

Its why Saban was AGAINST it as well. I dont even thinks he cares for it still...but is faking it...for recruiting purposes. Dabo doesnt feel the need to.

Dabo is more strategic in his recruitment than Saban is. Clemson kind of owns their state....and then they pick n choose how they cherry pick guys and someimes take the easier route they are comfortable grabbing a 3 star kid...as where as Bama is essentilaly on a crash course for 5 stars at every position.

Which is why Dabo hates NIL. It has really set back his competitive advantage.

Saban hates the portal I’m sure but if he sees a way to improve his roster and pluck some starters (ricks, steen, Gibbs and Burton just this year) he jumps on it. Dabo seems way too egotistical to even do that.
