and how did he turn out.. just don't get the we can't lose this one recruit.. it still boils down to a qb, without that not much else matters...Saban has made it **** to win with defense, but his teams lose to a dynamic qb.. they just don't have to play against many..
 
Patchan was bad because his Uncle posted on the boards.

Alex Collins, Matt Thomas, more recently, CJ Henderson were all toxic AF.
 
Agree with Antone Smith. I remember sitting in my law school lounge when the news broke on the grassy chat.

Alex Collins was a bad one too--it dragged out for several days when his mom refused to sign the LOI. Patchan, Patrick Johnson, and Matthew Thomas also come to mind.

Going back a little further, Max Jean-Gilles was a guy we really wanted and missed on signing day.

Some kids are worth it. Dalvin and Sony would have changed our program's path.

This board melts down for just about anything, it’s some kind of syndrome that’s formed from years of over expectations and losing..
All boards have had this since the Canes got robbed vs OSU.
But Alex Collins and his mom was epic

1) he was never coming here. He couldn’t stand Al Golden.

2) it’s the county more than anything...I already went into it in the albatross that was Juedy thread.

Wow that is a great list. Some serious studs on there. But I would not put Campbell on that list. I would put both Bosa brothers on that list, and I would put Surtain on that list. Also some on that list was never conming to Miami, but we all wanted them to and it hurt like a MF when they didn't.

Worst I can remember was Bryce Brown.

People were going full ****** over that.

Don't forget Gruden-Gate either.

Patrick Johnson was horrible at the time but is made a million times worse by how **** good he was at LSU and the fact that he's an all-pro.

Most NFL fans across the world would have no idea who Patrick Johnson was but we definitely do - That was a huge loss.

DeBose was also a big reaction. After we got Dye and Armstrong, we thought Debose was a definite and that was probably enhanced by the fact he was a borderline 5 * talent. UF convinced him he was the next Harvin and we lost out.

Bryce Brown.

There was a CB out of Lincoln, who somehow managed to convince UM insiders he was coming. TJ Bryant I think? Flamed out at USC.

Byrd was bad last year, especially as he had balled out at the Army game and we were so hyped to infuse some studs into our wack secondary.

Alex Collins - We all thought that somehow he would change his mind. Another guy I see running wild in the League this year and I think, he could have balled out at UM.

Would definitely add Michel as we wanted him bad since 9th grade and when his highlights went viral.
