Was colon the guy who signed 2 LOIs or something?

In all my years following this Antone Smith is really the only time I was ever shocked when someone didn’t sign with us.

Yes. Supposedly Butch Davis sent a mysterious figure known as "Coach Squeak" to his house the night before signing day and got a valid signed LOI. Next day he sends his LOI in to Florida. Much gnashing of teeth over which LOI was legally received first, if it was legal to collect the night before, etc. I think it was another one of those cases that happens only in Souh Florida where the mom was rooting AGAINST her son staying close to home. 305.

I don’t consider Jeudy situation a true meltdown cuz he was never uncommitted and truly considering us. His tread with ham with delusions of grander.

Those other names were super meltdowns
Matt Thomas and Dalvin Cook might take the cake.

Fred Rouse i don’t recall being a big deal. Most knew he was going to fsu and there were rumors we pulled his offer because he was such a clown.

Josh Jobe doesnt need to be on there either. I never watched his highlight film as i knew he nevere was comingg here. Only recruiting newbies and petes followers were up on that guy.

Amari Cooper was almost looked on as a cast away. Folks on here didnt even really care until late in the process when it was QUITE OBVIOUS he was a certified beast. Folks here would say he would play safety at Bama,talked about his garbage jr year stats, etc.

I remember J.R. Bryant and Trevor Ford recruitment.
 
Any recruit associated with the "Leader of Men" and his McDonalds stipend.
