to clarify as to what's going on:

we held an all-time Miami Hurricanes Draft in the West End Zone. 9 posters participated, choosing 11 players on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

naturally, we want to see who picked the best team. in order to avoid WEZ bias and leave it up to a more intelligent crowd, we decided to bring the polls here.

we'll roll out a few of these matchups and just ask that you vote on whichever team you think would win in a game.

feel free to talk about matchups or give your opinions on who would win and why.

At first I wanted to say team A due to having Kelly, great RBs, and better WRs...but at a 2nd glance team B's OL ***** all over A's and its not even close. I would say probably the most difficult position to fill would be OL in an alltime Canes draft, and B team did a phenomenal job with probably our 2nd and 3rd best tackles alltime in Searcy and Winston. Then u have arguably our best C in badass KC Jones and maulers at guard in Bibla and Sherk. Also GOAT Ray on D. This was very close for me, but that OL has to be the top of all the other 8 squads so I gotta go with them. You can find great players at least 5 or 6 deep at any position on a Canes alltime team except OL.


I hope I gave some useful insight into my thoughts...instead of just voting.
 
Voted above. Wanted to add the fact that I think that team B might have slightly better talent, especially on the OL for instance like the gentleman above me pointed out, but I can see the offense that team A is running so clearly with OL that can move around, a zone running stud in CP, and smaller, quicker receivers. It's like 51-49 in my mind, and if my namesake was on the other side I may have picked B.

lol, Team B and it shouldn't be a question.

You win games at the LoS and both sides of the ball on team B **** all over team A.

Kosar would make Jenkins and Waters look all world, and add Winslow too the mix......please. James Jackson would do fine behind that great *** line as would Davenport.

Them 3 white DL plus Lang would have a field day vs that other OL, then add # 52 exploding thru to lay some people straight out. Trump would be getting holding called on him every play vs them.

Starks, Buchanon, and Blades along with that front four would have Threat looking god like back at safety.

This. Team B's OL and D make them the best of the four teams today IMO.
