Cane committed?

What he said he isn’t seriously considering doing — not yet, anyway — is dropping the Hurricanes.

Even though he has been seen wearing FSU T-shirts around school and said he enjoyed his trip to Wisconsin, Collins said he remains committed to coach Al Golden and will wait to see how hard the school gets hit when NCAA sanctions are finally levied in the coming months.

“I don’t know how hard the NCAA will hit Miami or if it will be a soft touch,” Collins said. “But when I think about it, I really don’t want to be affected by something that happened before. I feel people that didn’t have anything to do with that situation should not pay the price for people who did. That’s why I’m waiting to see what happens before I make any final decisions.”

This is EXACTLY why I don't want us to self-impose another bowl ban.

If we forgo another bowl voluntarily, prospects will assume we're going to get hammered, and rival schools will neg-recruit us harder than they already are.

"See. They're giving up another bowl game. The NCAA might take away two more."


I say let the chips fall where they may.

Oh, and we skate.

Need to replace Collins with a quality back. Folston immediately comes to mind.

Kid looks like an animal.

Runs with a purpose and once he puts his foot in the ground explodes out of his cuts.
 
Sounds like a Cane to me unless we get hammered. Will be interesting to see what happens if we don't even get any sanctions by NSD.

Posted in the other thread Lu, but I know you are waving your pom poms for this kid right next to me (no homos, we got our barbells right next to them). But he is up about 25 lbs from last year. It's going to be scary.
