Alabama is staying in the FountainBleu for as smart as Nick Saban is what a stupid move, the lobby is the biggest party scene in south beach any night of week

They dont chose where they stay, the bowl game and sponsors do

Im guessing ND will be at the Westin Diplomat and will practice @ Phins complex

Bama will prob practice at some HS down near Miami

I hope they all show up hungover and cramping by the 2nd quarter.

Also heard Bama's pregame bash is at the Miami Beach Convention center in case anyone wants to crash!

I miss being good :(

Didn't OU stay at the Fountain Bleu when our boys called their QB and the Boz at the hotel?

That would be a huge recruiting advantage if that ever happen lol..

How about breaking down the hotel selection it could be a factor when you dealing with South Beach..
Notre Dame is 12 miles up the beach at the Westin Diplomat, it's a family resort, you can't get into much trouble at Hallandale beach..
A couple of blocks away is the Fontainebleau with Alabama, Drake was playing there on New Years Eve and they got that great nightclub downstairs.

This is a business trip, this isn't a holiday..
I played BCS bowl games here in Miami I played them in New Orleans, we been to Pasadena, we been to Arizona.
Miami is easily thee most dangerous city of any of the 4 sites for players with respect to distractions.
In Alabama's hotel they have one of the premiere night life destinations in the world.
You are talking celebrities, pro athletes, super models you have to wonder if Alabama's hotel is a disadvantage leading up to the game.

I was shocked when I heard they were staying at the fountainbleu. Talk about a place with a ton of distractions.

Is this from from a quote that someone said (if so, does it say who), or did someone actually write this as part of an article (if so, who)? I hope it's the former, otherwise ESPN editors are truly lacking.

I believe it was former lizard quarterback Jesse Palmer who made that statement a few days ago.

I was actually gonna go to LIV tonight. It's like the march of Dimes in there. Talent everywhere
