Just saw a University of Alabama billboard on the 836 right before the 95. A few blocks from Booker T...Pretty slick.

Bama and ND are going to use EVERY CHANCE to establish a lasting memory in South Florida for recruiting purposes. Wait for the Herald to running kiss *** stories about them also.

Go Canes!

Don't worry Saban is about to leave Alabama and accept the head coaching job of the Browns where he previously coached. Without Saban there goes the program and Tuscaloosa is a terrible little city in the middle of nowhere. Saban salary with the Browns is thought to be over $100 million for a ten year. Saban also grew up a Browns fan and went to college in Greater Clevland at Kent State.

Really hate the fact that FSU, ND, and Bama will all get some time down here where I am sure they will have south florida recruits visit their practices. I know Jimbo talked about it in his orange bowl presser earlier this month about how south florida is a part of their recruiting strategy and they are happy to be down here. ugh..

We have to deal with it though, its part of the game

Man I'm not worried about any of them. Al's got this

Agreed. Once ND is publicly flogged by Bama; Saban comes back home to the dumpster fire that are the Browns; and FSU gets embarrassed by NIU (you heard it here first, or not), then Al will reinforce the wall around Sfl and terrorize all of college football. And the NCAA will watch in horror.

Can't you guys in S Florida burn down the billboard? or min. paint the orange and green over it.
What happened to the SoFLA. swag?

Meh, anyone really think the kids in Dade need a billboard to reinforce Bama or ND? Most Dade kids are not ND "material" and Bama is hardly an unknown, same for FSU, **** NIU has some 7 kids from Dade, Broward and PB.

That program won titles before Saban, plenty of them.

If he does leave, i doubt poor ole Bama will fall.

Plenty of coaches out there would give their left nut to take over that program in a terrible little city in the middle of nowhere.

Obviously it doesn't introduce anyone to the teams/schools, but it does reinforce the brand. Would you not think it's pretty badass for us to put up a billboard in the heart of Tuscaloosa, to promote our badassness to the locals?

You really think Saban would return to the NFL?

No. His wife won't let him.

Saban is an old man and he will retire soon enough.
