I know. I intentionally left it off. I wanted to finish with "Now do you stand with us or not?" in bold letters. I thought that was the perfect ending.

Someone needs to take that quote, engrave a plaque with it and hang it on a wall at the U. That is, after we win another title.
 
one of my favorite quotes for sure, perhaps second to the one advising opponents to get our licks in now because we are coming for you in the future.

Not me. I stand by Golden. The guy could've ran off but he didn't. He has my respect for that.

Pretty sure that 1996 was being sarcastic, but yes, tons of respect for Golden to seeing this through. He's not finished yet, but clearly it's impressive the way he has changed all aspects of the culture through all of this.

The kids have to see this too and will graduate from here having spent time around someone who displays true character and work-ethic every single day. Most likely that will be the biggest and most important life lesson they will have learned in their time here, possibly more important than the diploma for many of them.
