And now he's lost the players and a lot of the fans. He put his friendship above the program, above winning and above the players that committed to him and it is all unraveling before his eyes. The guys are no longer fighting for the coaches. The jig is up. You can't stick with a guy that fields two of the worst defenses in the history of the program, constantly puts the players in a position to fail and expect everyone will continue to buy in. Game is pretty much over.

Golden's time while here

6-6, 7-5, and at best a 9 win season with a complete joke of a schedule

I've lost faith in golden I don't think he is going to take us anywhere near where we all want to go but in the short term there is only one way to save himself and that is to fire his defensive coordinator and abandon his scheme. Otherwise come this time next year his seat will be scorching hot

Al Tin is a loser. A shyster. A rusty nail. His defense officially quit on him today, so the jig is officially up as of today. There's no more talking your way out of this ****.

its on AL if he does not fire his friend this year. I am not ready to give up on a man that stood with us. Dorito on the other hand...his ars can get thrown out ASAP

yall act like Golden does this **** for free. He was making a couple mill through the NCAA mess. If he doesnt fire the defensive staff he can **** off too

Shyster is the correct term.

That's exactly who he is.

His act is getting old.....and he knows it. He'll keep scrambling for excuses tho.

I'm sure the dark cloud will be brought up again......I'm sure he'll talk about depth and other bs. He'll probably talk about losing S. Coley too.

Can'tt agree more with this thread. He all along just wanted to put his friend in a good position and will deal with the losses as long as he can parlay it into contract extensions and cash.

There is no defending 1,600 yards in three games (unless you are a pure brute which I think D'onofrio is). I know they will cry NCAA violations and Shapiro but **** that do your job then worry about image. If this guy stays on board will just prove Golden is willing to sink the ship to save his friend, we run the worst defensive scheme in the nation.

They inherited a mess here. He gave his coach another year to fix it. His friend has not fixed it, this offseason will tell if he chooses his friend over this program. Al's not going to blast his friend in interviews or public. He needs to pull him aside and say start looking I can't keep you, your sinking me with you.
