Akpejiori on scholly?

I don't think it really matters even if he does. He's gone after this year anyway, so unless there was a bunch of late '14 recruits or transfers, it doesn't really matter if he takes up a scholly. I guess there is the scholly reduction thing - but not sure if that would come into play in this scenario or if that only applies to the incoming classes.

It absolutely matters because it is a ship that would be better used toward the -9. If we put this incredibly bad basketball player on ship, it counts towards the total (85) and that is one less we could use towards the reductions.

Tremendous waste.

Im thinking that he is practicing with the team over the summer like a try out, not only for the canes but for other teams. He can make a move by the start of fall camp.

You seem upset.

I think he's still upset we gave him a basketball scholarship

He is right you know.

We need to put those 9 ships behind us as fast as possible. Not waste them on projects or desperate, last minute QB transfer signings.

Disagree about the underlined part, agree about not wasting them.
