I guess so, unless you are Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Jonathan Ogden, Jared Gaither, Harold Carmichael, or a number of other players who have played and are still playing the game at 6' 9". Plenty of players in the League at 6' 8" too. So 6' 9" isn't "too tall for any position."

Put some weight on him and put him at DE... Basketball players usually have extremely quick first steps... Not everyone will be a receiver...
