Interesting what Kirby said about the trickery ND pulled on 4th down. He said they had done that in the past and were flagged for it in an SEC game. They were told it’s illegal to quickly substitute 11 players. I guess what made it legal for ND is the long snapper never touched the ball. But these are the kinds of things you can pull off with extra practice. Just like we pulled off a fake punt for the first time since Hedley did it at Duke. But yah, in general our ST sucks. Mario needs to address it. One step in right direction signing a kickoff specialist. At a minimum we should not give up a KO return next year lol.

We haven't had good special teams since Don Soldinger left.
 
Was Dee Jay Dallas the last ST return for a TD? I can't remember any since then but that was a long time ago, I'm sure we had someone from ST's score?
