Patke should not get the job as #10

FAIL On Coburn
I mean, we didn't FLIP him from the in state school he was already committed to. And we were late on his recruitment. I'm disappointed, but was surprised we were even in the conversation to steal him away. More concerned with keeping our local AH guys.

A lot of wishful thinking at this point. All signs are pointing to Bama for Surtain Jr. and UGA for Campbell. At least it looks like Nesta is sticking. He's FAR more important than either of the two CBs.

To play devils advocate, what are all signs? The media pumping SEC schools as they always do until the kids don't choose them? Picking a team coming off several national titles isn't exactly a risk. And if the kids don't pick BAMA they will say "no on saw it coming". But if they pick the underdog school and the kid chooses Bama they will look like uninformed fools. Literrally the media does this in every genre.

Surtain trending to Bama, Campbell to Jawja

Trending? What does that mean?

Two minutes ago, I heard everyone claiming LSU for Surtain.

Very simple. Seemingly an hour before their announcements, people are putting cbs in for Bama and Georgia respectively.

I think they have to put in their Guess-tal Balls even if they have no clue. Makes sense, if you’re guessing, to guess the team that gets the number one class every year and the team with the current number one class.

Let’s hope

No one knows the picks. The point I made to you is they’re playing the odds by guessing the dynasty that signs the number one class every year.

LMAO, if you go to ESPN and click on the signing day special it has the top uncommitted players, what time they're announcing, and who they're considering. For TC and PS2 they don't even show Miami...

Yeah, we had several days to build a relationship with the kid and convince him to leave home and come to Miami. Can't believe he stuck with the in-state school that had probably been recruiting him for years and he'd been committed to for awhile. It's like he wanted to play in front of his family or put his state on the map or some silliness.

Maybe they've been following our signing day the past decade. Props to them.

Stuck in traffic down the street from AH. 10 min away. David already there. Said Nesta on stage with a chucky doll.

THE INFO IS Luginbill and the talking heads on ESPNU....they hear them spouting their **** and post their CB’s accordingly..

IT honestly doesn’t matter. We were NEVER getting Surtain Jr and Campbell has been UGA for months now. Nobody on this site who claims they are “insiders” or “sources” has any ******* clue what they are talking about. It’s the same bull**** every single year.

I think a lot of ppl are applying the So.Florida mentailty to other places. As if in other places Kids turn their back on the home town team at the first sign of interest from another school. In most other places A huge majority of the top kids stay there and put on for their City and region. So. Florida has become this anomolity. Honestly its pretty sad. When looking at the ESPN articale of where the top players go per county it was made crystal clear how a higher % of top So Florida kids dont feel the same passion for their home town.

Don’t think he should be coach 10 regardless. Unless money is strapped I don’t get this hire.

Yea this hire doesn’t make a lick of sense regardless...you have a chance to hire a great coach and we get this guy....nah we can do much better

They could've hired Surtain, Sr. and this thread wouldn't exist.

yea but for 1 player? can he recruit the following year? its too risky.......y do we have to hire him to get his son. **** bama said no to his face and still may get his son

I don't know where the analysts are getting their info for the crystal ball picks, but its not coming from the AH coaches.
