Let's be real here: Patke shouldn't get the job regardless if Coburn signed or not. On staff currently, we have Lil Jon, Panda & RumF all popping their cherry on being a position coach. Hartley had only coached at Marshall. On top of that, Kool doesn't recruit. So currently, more than half our staff has never coached or recruited. We need experience. John Lilly type resume. Stop letting coaches cut their teeth here.. We aren't FAU.

I agree about not melting down, but we as Cane fans should be upset if we don't land one of Surtain or Campbell. It would be a hard pill to swallow to see two 5* kids from our backyard go out of state considering we hired their former head coach.
