That's fantastic, but it looks wierd seeing it in that order. If that was a preseason prediction on what the mid way point would look like, somebody would lock you up.

This is getting real, folks.

We have a legit chance to win this hoops conference regular season title outright. We only have 4 more road games (in BOLD), the biggest being @ Duke next month. The FSU road trip won't be a picnic either. I feel pretty confident we should handle both @ Wake and @ Clemson, but those games should be theoretically tougher than our home games.

First thing first, we need to knock off an easy home game mid-week vs BC and then win against a now, hot and hungry UNC team that will be out for revenge. If we can manage going into the FSU game being 10-0, I think this team wins the ACC.

The more I think about, the more I feel we really need to have a 2-0 week this week. BC is a must win, for a variety of reasons. Also, I would like to see us pull the sweep on UNC as well. I think they are playing better ball than they were a month ago. However, the same thing can be said about us as well.

Next week, although not brutal, are two tough road tests @ FSU and @ Clemson. Neither is truly menacing, but any road win is huge in this league.

Going 10-0 will say something very strong about where this team is potentially headed. It all starts tonight!

We should go 2-0 this week. BC should (I stress should) be an easy win at home, and we're better than UNC, but they'll want revenge. We didn't have Reg when we beat them up there, so we should win this one too. I'm not really sure how much better they are playing. They needed OT to beat VT at home, and were blown out by NC State in Raleigh.

I'm worried about @FSU and @Clemson. Don't think we sweep those road games, even though on paper we should.

1985 you added wins for both VT and UVA.... UVA beat VT, right?

By the looks of the standings, we've already locked up an opening round bye, which is HUGE for us. Larkin and Scott will need the time off. And even if we lost all 4 remaining games, which won't happen, we beat UNC twice so the tiebreaker is moot.

Our second round match-up tomorrow would be vs the NCSU-Wake winner, or UNC-GTech. No cakewalks in this conference tourney!

We automatically have an opening bye as UNC we beat twice and they are 4 games behind. If we win 2 (without beating Duke) we tie them for first (if Duke wins the rest). If we beat Duke and lose to everyone else, we automatically finish in first.
