Acc championship

Correct. However we need to self-impose if we think the NCAA is going to give us a 2 year post season ban

Edit: we can actually lose to Virginia, beat Duke and still win it. Or beat Virginia, lose to Duke and make it if Duke losses to Clemson and GT

Why do you think we're going to lose to Virginia? LOL they're the worst.

So if we win out we get another shot at fsu?

If we beat UVA and Duke we get another shot... as long as we dont self ban.

Unless the notice of allegations is terribly bloody, we shouldn't self ban again. There's no guarantee it would do anything. Plus, weigh the positives for the program of going to the championship game and the extra practices for a very young team. I think we'd be idiots to self impose again.

And yes, most likely FSU, but possibly Clemson if VT can manage an upset at home a week from now. That is, of course, if we beat Virginia and Duke.

If we end up with a 2 year post season ban and don't self impose this year it's a major blunder.

I don't, but that's how the coastal is playing out

Well if we get 3 years then we need to get the 2nd one out of the way this year.

We have been extremely cooperative with the NCAA, I would they would give our higher ups at least an idea of what is coming.

If we don't self impose I'm taking it as a great sign on the upcoming sanctions

we aint gettin a 3 year bowl ban. no ******* way. i dont see how you can self impose en route to an ACC champ game. not gonna happen

Because if you think we are getting 2 years (which is a big possibility) it's 100% the right move. We will be a better team in 2013 then we are this year. Golden knows we will be a better team in the future and you can't mortgage our future for this team.

I think we play the ACCCG but skip the following bowl game that were invited to after

If we self-ban, it will help with younger recruits who will feel more comfortable coming to a team that will certainly be playing in post season games going forward.

It's a **** of a statement to qualify for the ACC Championship and self-ban. It's putting everything potentially bad behind us we possibly can while the future is getting much brighter.

no team should put the interest of future players over current ones

what about players like Mike James and Davon Johnson and Brandon McGee who busted their behinds? or even the freshmen who were fed to the wolves?

it's a total ***** move if we impose a ACCCG ban.

I agree with this. Unless there is serious smoke re: future punishment, we don't self-ban.

The 2013 freshmen shouldn't care about missing out on a bowl game. So what? They'll have 2-3 more chances to go to bowl games, better ones at that.

This!

If it's self imposed, it can be whatever we want it to be. Post season ban is not the same as a bowl ban.

It might it hurt us, but I'd see a self imposed bowl ban after participating in the ACCCG as the same thing as us taking 1.5 bowl bans.

if it hadn't been said already

F U CK Nevin Shapiro's punk a$$. burn in **** you son of a *****. hope you get stabbed you midget-*** mark *** trick *****

hope Golden visits him after we win a Title and asks him how does my *** taste?

ACC said that if Miami self-imposes a bowl ban, it is ineligible to play in the ACC Championship game. To me that means we would have to make a decision before the championship game. I say self-impose another bowl ban, 15 scholarships over the next 3 years, 3 yrs probation, vacate wins from the seasons in question, & institute a better compliance office & all that other educational stuff & pray for the best. Ohio st. had self-imposed 5 scholarships over 3 yrs, 1 yr probation & vacated wins. The NCAA added a 1 yr bowl ban, 4 scholarships over 3 yrs & 2 yrs probation. So overall they got a 1 yr bowl ban, 9 scholarships over 3 yrs, 3 yrs probation. Since we cooperated fully (USC) & didn't mislead anyone (Tressel), a 2 yr bowl ban, 15 scholarships over 3 yrs & 3 yrs probation seems sufficient.

So you rather kids who weren't even present when this crap went down are punished, you prefer to adversely risk affecting the 2014 recruiting class, and you want to cost us a post season game when we just MAY be a much better team with a much better record?

BS.

We are not winning the ACC championship. We are probably going to get raped. Why do you guys want us to get raped again on national TV again? so our seniors can play in a ****** bowl? think of the big picture.

Beating a garbage VaTech team means nothing, we suck.

We can't. The ACC considers the championship game to be postseason. If we're enforcing a ban, we can't play in the ACCG.
