I mean.. sounds great and I’d agree on paper but on the field it’s not really a debate.


Clemson over ASU this year in what universe? ASU should be in the final 4 if they got a text book targeting call that essentially came down to a “we didn’t call it because it would have changed the game” scenario. Against the same team that beat Clemson by 2 TDs a week prior.


Iowa State beat Miami. With or without Cam, doesn’t matter. Even if Miami won that game.. BYU beat SMU on the field. It’s comparable at the top but the Big12 is undeniably a deeper conference. Utah is typically very good. Arizona was a top 15 team last year and had a down year with a new coach. Oklahoma State has one of the best HCs in college football (fading? Probably). Kansas was one of the better teams to end the season. TCU was in the NCG a few years ago. The coaching and schemes in the Big12 are so far advanced compared to the ACC


The top 6-7 teams, perfectly comparable. The bottom of each conference is completely different
