Now we will get to see which coaches in America are closers. Supply just went down and demand just went up. Who will be sipping on coffee?

Strategy from here to finish should be to put our best salesmen on all the remaining targets and de-emphasize guys like Rumph and Kool. Let them talk with the recruits a little, but leave the selling and closing to our dogs.

Unless teams signed 100% if their class in dec, many will be fighting for a few. Instead of teams spreading out to make sure they keep their commits and get commits from those not committed prior to this year, all effort and resources will be on a few. I wonder if the increase in attention and phone calls will cause those to wish they’d have signed early (if they knew where they were going).

Franchise, the great advantage UM has is it’s recrutimg base being sofl. Our expenses and resources are 30-60 min drives instead of flights. Rumph and kool can make visits along with every other member of the staff to AH. We can camp out and see kids almost daily while other schools won’t be able to.

The remaining SoFl targets have been and will be under a lot of recruiting pressure, but lets be realistic, they know where they going. Our advantage is not who's recruiting them, but how strong is the bond to rep SoFl by staying home.

Yep, get the signees and ambassadors on the twitter and text to these guys daily to join them.

4 of our main targets are formerly coached by Rumph I’m sorry but you are not sitting him on the sidelines. You are just able to use multiple coaches to recruit each player.

Man **** all that pride **** we need to sign this guy up if he has any legit interest. I know it's not our primary need but the staff has been supposedly looking at adding a 4th WR. I understand wanting offers to mean something and it's been said on this board a trillion times but this is not the type of kid you turn away if he wants in. He's a game changer and if he wants to come IMO (which means nothing to the coaches) He should have a spot.

Wish somebody would look up what Herbert said about Rumph last year when he signed with us,it explains why he struggles so much with recruits.

I can't remember the exact words, maybe someone else remembers or wants to look it up but Herbert said something about Rumph and the way he interacts with recruits needing to improve or something along those lines.
