UM, UF and FSU fans all love taking shots are their ex-coaches or other players that players on their team are compared too.

Wrap them all up into Dolphins fans and you have one of the worst fan bases in the NFL.

A lot lower than I thought it would be. Some of that has to do with place of origin. My dad moved to South FL from Providence in the 60s. He became a big Canes fan in the 80s but never cared about the Dolphins (Patriots were and are his team - and the Giants for some reason). I suspect there's some of that going on. Not the connection to the pro team like adopting the local college team. I've been in Denver now for 10 years and I could give a flying sh*t about the broncos.
