A season in quarters.

1st quarter – Florida Atlantic (W), Florida (W) and Savannah State (W); record 3-0

2nd quarter – South Florida (W), Georgia Tech (W) and North Carolina (W); record 3-0

3rd quarter – Wake Forest ( ), Florida State ( ) and Virginia Tech ( ); record ??

4th quarter – Duke ( ), Virginia ( ) and Pittsburgh ( ); record ???

Assume we go 3-0, for the 4th quarter games and that leaves the 3rd quarter as the crucial quarter for our season.*

We need to have the right 2-1 record, if we are unable to go 3-0.* In other words, the Virginia Tech game is a must, if we want to make it to Charlotte.*

As much as it hurts to say it, the regular season FSU game is meaningless in the big picture, it would be nice to win it, but not necessary like the Virginia Tech game is.*

If someone had told you at the beginning of the season we would end up 11-1 during the regular season and not make it to Charlotte, you would have been disappointed, but would have been relishing an 11-1 season with a trip to the ACC Championship.

If things lineup properly, we may even get our revenge against FSU in the championship game.

I get what you are saying, but I'd never say the FSU game is meaningless... yes VT game is more important in regards to getting to the ACC championship but by **** I'd want to beat the **** out of those schoolgirl f.@ggots whether we were 7-0 or 0-7...

That said, I thougt we'd be 9-3 before the season started so I'd take 11-1 and a trip to Charlotte, sure, as long as that loss wasn't a blow out. At this point we should be in every game at very least.
