Or a DC can bring their DLine Coach with them. Go fawk yourself.

I mean for **** sake. We just had the number 1 offense in the country, a Heisman finalist, and probably 3 offense players drafted in the first 3 rounds. When was the last time either of those three happened.

I’ve had enough CIS for the week, month, and probably year after this post

Have you been here all season. They’ve literally complained about the run game all season. The pass game went well because of Dawson. Mirabal is a good coach. But nothing changes, until it changes.

We ran for 5.4 per carry, which was 12th in the nation. No other Power 4 team was better (ND is independent)…..

Translation, we ran the ball more effectively than any team in SEC, B10, B12, or ACC

Dawson is cooking at Miami.

And Arroyo doesn't call plays at AZ ST, it's Kenny Dillingham's Offen
The run game is the way it is because of personnel.
I agree he is. His route concepts and general play calling. I have no qualms with him. Or the offense in general. But we had a dude a QB and we won’t have that next year. Cam went off script a lot and made plays.

This post is like a loud fart gone wet half way through. Some thoughts just shouldn’t be said aloud, let alone put in writing. I’ll let the stat geeks do their thing (thank you), but it’s clear the OP knows nothing about blocking schemes in conjunction with the offense we ran. We were in shotgun all the time with most runs being RPOs. This means slower developing run plays because the OL can’t get too far downfield so they generally use zone blocking schemes.

Go complain about the other side of the ball. There’s plenty there.

Like wtf is this dude yappin bout our offense was excellent this year wtf complains about the best offense in the country lmao. I wonder if other fan bases are this bad.

Which isn’t a problem, but it is. Until Mario and Mirabal separate, nothing will change. The OC here is nothing but a glorified pass game coordinator. Because the blocking schemes ain’t changing, unless an OC can bring his OLine coach with him.
greece looks GIF

Don't let the door hit you in the ***..

The running game was fine. It may not look very creative, but was effective most of the time and more importantly effective as games wore on.

The only thing lacking was big explosive plays, but Fletcher and Martinez aren’t those types of backs. They don’t have the top end speed to go the distance on any play. Hopefully Lyle can bring that next season.
