A Marcus Fortson sighting

Maybe I am 1,000% wrong but if Al Golden is our head coach in 2008 I think we look back on Forston's career completely differently.

I wish him well. Once a Cane, always a Cane. Dude could have gone anywhere else, but he came to Miami. I've never understood people knocking Canes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Al was the coach in 2008, he would've taken that sick *** class to a couple titles, ******* blandy didn't know the first thing about developing talent

You're probably right. Look at the number of guys that either a) turned their career around at Miami and/or b) have made rosters on mostly pure athletic ability alone from Randy's tenure. We may be referring to those guys as the lost generation in another 5 years.

LMAO he's a backup for the two rookie white dudes who were backing up Vince and who now start bc of his injury.

You look at guys like Davon Johnson, Jones, Lewis etc and wonder "what could have been?" with some of the more "talented" guys but at the same time I really wonder how many of them actually would have been recruited. Golden would have hit MNW and Booker T sure, but how hard? Who actually would have made the cut?

And left early with time left on the table to be an undrafted FA.

So?

He is a cane and he choose the canes but he left the canes for no good/smart reason.

Ojomo would have traded his jaw for that 6th year of eligibility.

His choice. Don't hate.

My opinion, don't hate.

You think because someone just comes through the program, that is it? They all are treated equally?

It has nothing to do with skill either.

well he screwed the team by taking benefits and getting suspended then bailed on team and left early in spite of not being ready. I don't hate him but he certainly hurt Miami more than he helped,

He did little to leave a positive impact on the program, much like RRA.
