A&M Vs New Mexico

Interested to see how this plays out, A&M is favored by 35+ in this one. NM is NOT good but brought in 20 transfers (brought in a Qb from UAB with 25 starts so they’ve upgraded)

Their first drive he went 5/6 for 40 yards
Their run game went no where for the most part

I remember hearing the aggies secondary will be shaky this season so interested to see how they perform against NM who seems to run sorta an offense similar to Richts in 2016.

Apparently they’re down two OL rn as well (LT & Center)

2 15 yard penalties really didn’t help, imo NM would be in a dog fight with most decent FCS programs so it’s not as comparable as Miami Ohio (who is more comparable to App State IMO)

Stewart also got the ball stripped out of his hand ont hat drive, they’re lucky NM didn’t recover it

- NM Qb is 7-9 for 50 yards
- as a team they have 6 Carries for 6 yards

A&M

- 7 rushes for 35 hards (Weigman with 17 on one carry)
- weigman 4-6 for 40 yards and a TD

5 penalties for 55 yards for NM….

I don’t think he’ll shadow him tho..and I don’t like that matchup tbh..we gotta take him out of the game by getting Pressure up front..nobody on this roster is sticking him IMHO
