Nobody seems to acknowledge the person at the center of this mess is a convicted liar of the worst kind who ruined many lives was also the star witness who admittedly had an axe to grind and when the story came crumbling apart they wont accept it instead they made excuses. today they tried to project the notion that UM got away with some huge crime. i've heard every excuse today, its because miami has a winning record right now and the ncaa wants money from it, the ncaa ruined their own investigation, **** the guys on PTI even said its because of dr. shalala's clout and being a former cabinet member.

not one person today simply acknowledged that the yahoo report that got all their panties in a bunch, could've simply been bull **** and that all the stuff that they read that got them riled up is just false. the only person who did put a highlight on that miserable piece of crap shapiro being a liar was desmond howard. hopefully jason whitlock will get a chance to speak on this now that he is with espn, he was the only media guy who called BS on shapiro and robinson from the start

For what its worth, Desmond Howard mentioned it and stated the whole case was flemsy from the beginning.

But I do agree that 99 percent of the media have left that main part out

A lot of parts have been left out to support some of the stupidity that is permeated through the media. Like Al says, your with us or against.

It don't matter. The NCAA sat back and said, do we f*ck with that b*tch Donna or deal with the media blowback by allowing UM to skate. And everyone in the room remained silent because they thought it was a rhetorical question. Lulz.

My favorite sound bite of the day was on wqam when someone called in and said:

"Donna Shalala, I'd bang her."

We got off because we did everything right in the investigation. We admitted our mistakes and punished ourselves. During the 3 year investigation the NCAA tried so hard to prove things they couldn't it made us look like the good guys. Donna did a good job but it had nothing to do with being a cabinet member or lawsuits. The media was going to react either way.

This.

Plus, the NCAA really did monumentally **** the bed. How absurd would it have looked for the NCAA to crush Miami when literally none of the actors involved were even in or near the program anymore? Especially after they bungled the investigation.

The good news: nothing but football from here on out.

Agree, many act like everything he said was true and some how Miami got off.
He's a ******* professional liar that bilked people much smarter than some college kids out of hundreds of millions, not thousands, Millions of dollars!

Exactly he deserved no more shine negative or not.....noone should ever speak his ******** name again!!
