I didn't even realize just how bad it was. Another cool stat, in 2 games we've only had the other team punt 4 times. LMAO.

So this is the result of playing it safe and being scared to allow a big play? **** it. Might as well start sending pressure, jamming at the line and go down swinging. No point in playing scared and still getting humiliated.

It's the result of playing young kids and having a terrible scheme. I'm no football genius, but I was calling at Kansas St. plays, yet we couldn't stop them even when we knew what was coming.

Our defense under Coach D has been reactive instead of forcing the offense into uncomfortable spots. We allow them to do whatever they want and hope to hold them to field goals instead of touchdowns.
 
We're young. Hence the worst defense in all of college foorball. BC should be able to exploit this because they're older.

I believe the Were young actually applies this season, not so much in past, but the main thing is coaching, No Balls Ohnofrio with that scheme, Fisch doing his best Pat Nix impression, **** we got a qb that can sling it, a rb that break big runs, another one that can get hard yards, a Fb although they seem to bury him on sideline, that blast holes for said rbs and we throw wide reciever screens, smh. Get the corners up on the recievers, blitz from the LBs a few times get the safeties back within atleast 15 yards of the ball and man up on defense. If we get beat then we get beat but that **** they are doing now aint working
 
The scheme is more of an issue than youth IMO. Our DL has been awful and we aren't changining things up, it's a bad combonation.

scary thing is we played two pretty basic offenses that weren't good last year. Our remaining schedule features better offenses.
 
I don't care if we're starting 100 freshmans and 100 sophomore and our seniors suck. In back to back weeks, one below average and one decent offense had their way with us as if our defensive squad had substitute players from a D2 school. Look at what the QBs are doing to us, guys that will be selling real estate in two years are connecting on like 80% of their passes and making all types of explosive plays in the air. Teams are teeing off on us. It's a joke.

This falls on Golden. He's playing our D like a chicken ****. He's playing not to lose on D, rather than being aggressive and forcing the issue.

And the excuse about SoFla frosh not being able to grasp complex system is BS. You guys think Bama recruits Rhodes Scholars? Give me a break.

Young talent at Miami still shouldn't be yielding defensive performances that would rival a low-end Conference USA team. I'm not buying that bull****.

It's a schematic issue. Yes our DL is awful, but the defense looks lost. Anyone blaming this simply on youth is delusional.
