"Defensive back Chauncey Gardner (Cocoa, Fla.) said he's still strong with his verbal commitment with Florida. Gardner said he still hears from Miami and Ohio State. He listed the Buckeyes second and Hurricanes third behind the Gators. Gardner hopes to visit all three for games this fall. The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 14 cornerback and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Florida in the 2016 class."

-Something tells me he will flip again and end up with Urban Liar and OSU

He sees all the talent in the 2016 class and wants to be a part of it.

He might be the first commit to De-commit from a school and re-commit to the same school.

Was justing wondering about him last night...

Boy got big since he last commited to UM:

He does not look like the same guy that commit to us last June. He looks 190 now.

Hope he flips back! UF got 3 commits for 2016, all DBs. We got 4 WRs for 2016 so we can use a DB commit. He will most likely get to play right away at the U with Gunter, Tracy, Crawford, and possibly Burns all gone by the time he gets here. Unfortunately, he seems really close to UF RB Brandon Powell another former flipper.

Hope he flips from that ****hole in turdsville. Still don't get why this kid flipped. Hope he's taking a long hard look at our 2016 class. Bad move by him IMO.

I mentioned it before too. Feel like he could end up flipping back.

Been wondering ever since 2016 started booming for us if this kid was rethinking what he did.

Don't forget he was only a freshmen when he commited. He seems very easily sold as he commited on the spot when offered at the UM camp and then flipped on the spot a year later when offered by UF at their camp. I think his recruitment is far from over, reading his comments after flipping, he obviously likes T-Rob and has no clue on what an eduacation is:

“It feels great. It’s a big change and coaches may be mad, but I did it for me,” Gardner said. “It’s like Coach Muschamp said, 'It’s not about football, and it's about getting an education when you come to Florida.' It’s about football, too, but there’s a time and place after football is all said and done, you’re going to have to have something to fall back on. You’re going to have that four-year, five-year diploma, have my degree … they have a high graduation rate.

“But football-wise, I love Coach T-Rob and I had great experience learning from him today at the camp. It was good.”

Not sure how he compared UM and UF academicaly and decided that UF was better... makes you wonder who provided him the data for his research....

Hate UF as much as the next guy, but they are not FSU in terms of education. Maybe overall we are slightly higher, but there are some areas in which they are better. But yeah our graduation rate is better and as a football player would probably be much better off in Miami education wise.

Recruits lie, musky probably said we will do your class work it's all about football. Kid signed up quickfast. Don't blame kids that go for that because it's there dream, not saying it's the smart choice but as a 17 year old that's mostly how you think.

If they want to stay in contact cool, but ive moved on. This kid is going to decommit from uf because of whats going on in recruiting just like the reason he jumped to them. If he matures and gets serious by senior year come on down but i dont play that one foot in one foot out bs.

He sees all the talent in the 2016 class and wants to be a part of it.

He might be the first commit to De-commit from a school and re-commit to the same school.

Demarcus Van Dyke and Ramon Buchanan did it with Miami.

Forgot about them boys. It's still a rare action in today's recruiting game. I always like Gardner though and hope he does come back.

I've followed this recruiting thing for a while and this is the first I've ever heard of Patrick Johnson Peterson wanting back in to Miami and Randy turning him away. Sounds kind of absurd to me. In fact, it was a UF/LSU battle in the end. We weren't even in the picture.
