That's who we played this year.
Based on how we perform against teams with a pulse, it's easy to see that we were no better than we were last year. In fact, there are only 2 differences from this year to last year. The first is that Kansas St. and Notre Dame were replaced with Florida Atlantic and the worst Florida team in almost 30 years. The second is that we didn't lose to any awful teams with losing records like in 2011 (Maryland & Boston College) and 2012 (UVA). We are only marginally better 3 years into the Al Golden era than we were when he first took over.

- In those 7 games we won 3 and lost 4. We were outscored 251-190, with the average score being a 36-27 loss.
- The 3 we won came against 3 teams with just 7 wins. Georgia Tech has a chance for 8 wins if they beat Ole Miss. If they do, that will be our "best" win on the season. The average score in those 3 games was 41-28.
- The 4 losses came against teams with double digit wins. We were thoroughly outclassed in all of them, with Louisville being the only team that didn't score 40 points. They could have if they just ran a play at the end of the game instead of kneeling on our 3 yard line. The average score in those 4 games was 41-19.
