UNC is the only team we lost to that was beatable. You can talk all you want about what's wrong this teams current makeup, coaching etc., but FSU, ND and KSU are just better teams period. We'd lose 9 out of 10 games against each of those three. 5-4 is no reason to celebrate, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Progress.

We were down 16-13 going into the 4th against FSU. They are beatable.

The score going into the 4th qtr and the final score only proves we lack the necessary depth needed to beat good teams! Help is on the way. With Golden at the helm, our FUTURE is bright!

As its been said here before....AG gets IT!

Don't forget against UNC we got f***ed over by the refs on a 2 pt conversion attempt that would have put us only down by 3, and then lost Stephen Morris and had to finish the game with Ryan Williams.

Al Golden JUST GETS IT.

WHat has this board come to where we played games that were unwinnable ??

Vern, it's come to its senses. After 10 years of being Cokershannonized, this team has nobody among the upperclassmen that would compare to guys on today's FSU roster, much less the national championship Canes rosters. Fortunately, when we look at Golden's 2011 mulligan class, his 2012 first real class, and what's already in pocket for 2013 and 2014, everyone can see that we won't need to make excuses after this season.

That also with FSU turning the ball over left and right.

Part of them being beatable is the fact that they DO turn the all over, that EJ Manuel still makes freshman decisions at times as a 5th year senior. They are a mentally soft team and are not ever guaranteed to be mentally dialed in. I like getting the rematch if we make the ACCCG, will be like LSU-BAMA last year, we're gonna get them when they think it's a cake walk just as our Defense is starting to turn on and create turnovers and force teams to punt.

FSU turned the ball over because our kids made plays. Jack Nicklus the III got his entitled *** DP'ed. Eddie Johnson caused a fumble, as did Luther Robinson IIRC. The D is young and it lacks depth, but it is not without playmakers. They don't know what they are doing half the time, but when all else fails they just throw themselves around and try to hurt someone. People need to give our D a little credit. It wasnt FSU just shooting themselves in the foot. .
