4 Star QB Jake Bentley (247 article?)

His dad just got hired on at USC and moved back there. Wont be surprised to see him move back up to South Carolina after the school year.

His father coaches at USCe and he goes to high school 5 minutes away from Auburn. This is a long shot at best. But doesn't hurt to have him visit. Shows other recruits there is a lot of interest in the U.
 
Couple of points to mention here as I'm extremely familiar with this kid and brought his name up a while back in that Eason thread I think. As someone has already stated, the kid is originally from South Carolina. He was never an Auburn lean that I know of even when his father was on staff. In the past he's been really enamored with Stanford because they have "the best of both worlds." With that said, this kid really likes Richt. Richt, coupled with what Miami brings to the table (private institution, football history, etc) means we have a legit shot at this kid. And he's a **** good prospect. He's accurate as **** and moves really well. Last I heard they were still deciding if he was going to stay in Opelika or move back to South Carolina. I know he feels like they can compete for a state championship at Opelika and was distraught when they were eliminated last year in the playoffs. If I had to guess I'd say that he's going to stay at Opelika High for his senior year.

We should definitely be in on our local guys, but this is one kid that I do believe Miami will have a legitimate shot with.
