3rd down efficiency

If Morris improves on not throwing to a reciever that is obviously stuffed at the point of the catch, short of the 1st down, we will be a LOT better.

Still does that too many times. Not talking about hitting a guy in stride, I'm talking about those five yard pases to guys standing, facing him, with three defenders on his back, when it's 3rd and 8.

He also made way to many passes that just happen to go through the defenders hands because he threw them so hard. If he will quit locking on receivers on quick slants and make sure they're open before he lets it fly, I have a feeling we will break a few of those for some decent yardage.

That and if he can start hitting the wide open receivers...

But hey, he made the plays when he needed to, which is evident by that 11-16 stat, so I'm still riding with him.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention was on that long TD to Dorsett on our first possession that Morris did a real good job of keeping the safety in the middle of the field with his eyes. I'm not sure if he did it on purpose or if he just didn't see Dorsett come open so fast, but if he stares down Dorsett as soon as he comes open then the safety probably gets there to make the play. Probably the best play of his career so far along with the Hank TD at the end of the VA game a couple of years ago.
