3rd down defense...

I haven't looked at the defensive rankings but, if we are not ranked last we got to be close to the bottom. It's incredible how many 3rd and LONG we give up.

You have been the o line coach forever...but we have had the least amount of oline draft picks compared to ebery other position .

I feel like punching myself in the face. I can't believe that our opponents' best play is 3rd down and whatever.

The fact that we occasionally get teams in a 3rd down situation is just a cruel joke on our fanbase.


Like offering a toddler a lollipop before throwing it on the ground and punching it in the face.

I think it's more cruel that it doesn't matter if its 3rd & 14 or 3rd & 2, the other team has the same odds of making the first down on our D.

And historically bad last year. His-mother****ing-torically bad.


That's all the rope you need to give someone to see if they hang themselves. Now our DC is swinging there dead, figuratively speaking of course, and everyone knows it, except for his buddy Al, who's busy poking him with a stick to see if he wakes up.


Meanwhile we scream, "Let him go Al. The scheme's dead, you gotta learn to let go." Week after god**** week.
 
It is freaking annoying to see no changes are being made

Like I was trying to tell some ppl yesterday that 3rd down defense and how terrible/WOAT this defense is on 3rd downs, is the biggest problem on this team and has made our offense worse....... The main problems on this team start and end w/ Coach D'onofrio.
